6pm – 7 pm    SIWA - Silent Waiting .

A time of of quiet and reflection in preparation for Christmas. The church will be warm and lit only by candles : it will provide a quiet space of quiet prayer in the rush up to Christmas. Every Sunday evening in Advent. You don’t have to stay for the whole hour come at 6 pm and  go as you want.

A welcome into the Church Family

Baptism
We welcome Maddison Bainbridge to the worldwide Christian family through baptism in St Firmin’s Church at 1pm on Sunday 3rd October.

Harvest Supper and Harvest Festival

Harvest Supper
This will take place in the church Hall at 7pm on Friday 8th October.

All proceeds to St Firmin’s Church.

Harvest Festival
St Firmin’s Church is holding a Back to Church Harvest Festival at 4pm on Sunday 10th October which is a national movement to encourage people to come back to church.
If you have not been to church for some time or never been, do please come and join us. We will be thanking God for his wonderful care and provision for us.

The festival will also be in aid of the charity Action Aid for a Community Garden

Donations of fruit vegetables and flowers would be most appreciated, the more the merrier, after all we want the festival to be a great success.
Flowers to the church by Thursday 7th please. If you would like to help decorate our beautiful church contact Margaret Spooner on 423647.
