What do we do for the other 6 days?
Everyday Faith & Discipleship
Gathering for Lay People in the Lincoln Archdeaconry
24th September 2011, 10am to 4pm
Leasingham Village Hall hosted by the Bishop of Grantham
• Dealing with suffering
• Do you find it difficult to express your faith at work?
• Faith in networks
• How do I connect?
• How do I grow?
May I invite you to an exciting day? We will be led by the disinguished lay theologian, andarchitect of the Faithful Cities report, Ann Morisy. Ann wrestles with the everyday questions and dilemmas which face all people and poses creative and positive opportunities in a refreshing and serious-minded way. She will be joined by other lay folk, both local and from the wider Church, in exploring the many themes which confront us as people of faith today.
The day is open to all lay church people in the south of the Diocese, and will be conducted in an atmosphere of fun, companionship and exploration. I urge you to join us for an occasion which will help deepen our encounter with faith and also broaden our understanding of how we might live out our calling in Christ.
See you then… Bishop Tim
